About Us

We moved to Tennessee from Alaska in the spring of 2011. When we were at the in-laws, we went to a Tractor Supply Co. There I fell in love with baby chicks!

I told my husband that I had wanted baby chicks, and he told me, "When we get to Tennessee, we will get you some baby chicks." Well, low and behold, our first pair of chickens were Cochins. From there I fell in love, and went a little coop crazy!

Our very first coop was the dog run. A 10x10 space for two chickens seemed big enough. But the two chickens grew into four chickens, than we ended up getting 3 Rhode Island Red Pullets. From there, the obsession has grown. We have hatched a few chickens of our own, some with failures, some that came out great! A couple of ducks and even a turkey. Of course, nature takes her toll on certain creatures and they are now all in heaven.

We currently have: 5 roosters and 9 pullets. We get a total of 6-9 eggs a day. We will begin selling them as soon as I get my egg sign from a friend!
